Glastonbury Police Warn Residents of Recent Car Burglaries

GLASTONBURY, Conn. (WTNH)- Glastonbury police are reminding residents to lock their cars after a series of car thefts in neighborhoods across the town. Police say a number of cars have actually been stolen, and in other cases, items have been taken from cars.
Police say on October 17th overnight, and on Octobr 18th overnight, there were reports of four cars stolen from neighborhoods there. Police say the complaints came from the areas of Old Farms Road, Coldbrook Road, Bidwell Street and Farmstead Lane. Police asy in all those cases the cars were unlocked and the keys were inside.
Police say there were also a number of items stolen from unlocked cars in other neighborhoods too.
Police are reminding residents to always lock their cars and to call police if they see anything suspicious in their neighborhood.
