Orange Police identify woman struck and killed on Boston Post Road

ORANGE, Conn. (WTNH) — Orange Police have released the name of the woman who was killed after being hit by a car last Friday night.

Police say 35-year-old Charlotte Fox of New Haven was attempting to cross five lanes of traffic along the Boston Post Road at 9:45 p.m. Fox was struck by a driver who was traveling westbound.

Investigators identified Fox with the assistance of the New Haven Police Department and Fox’s friends who are a part of the New Haven homeless community.

The driver, 37-year-old Paul Storo of West Haven, remained on the scene and has not been charged.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to give Orange Police a call at 203-891-2138.
