NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Halloween is a time of creepy crawlers and the animals that scare us. Check out some of these animals at CT’s Beardsley
Join us for our annual Howl-O-Ween! This event features activities and attractions geared towards children ages 8-15, and adults of all ages, although brave youngsters have found the event to be quite enjoyable. Brave children (and parents!) can enter haunted attractions: The Haunted Hayride, Farmer Beardsley’s Farmstead, and the Ghastly Greenhouse. For the more timid, there are events such as magic shows, face painting, fortune tellers, dancers and more. The ultimate goal of any good Halloween event is to get a few screams from you, so parents of sensitive children should consider this before entering a haunt.
Tickets for Howl-O-Ween are $12 presale & for Zoo members and $15 on the night of the event. Your ticket purchase includes two haunted houses, haunted hayride, all performances, facepainting, carousel rides & more. Food and beverage are not included, but the Zoo’s Peacock Cafe is open during the event. Parking at the Zoo is always free of charge.
Howl-O-Ween runs on the following dates:
Saturday, October 15: 6:30 – 10 PM
Friday, October 21: 6:30 – 9 PM
