Troopers: Teenager home alone when man breaks in

WOODBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Connecticut State Police are investigating a reported home invasion in Woodbury on Wednesday afternoon.

Police responded to a home on Good Hill Road around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for a reported home invasion. A 13-year-old girl told police a white man came into the home through the back door while she was home. She said the man then left the home after a “brief exchange” about who lived at the home.

Troopers checked the home to make sure the suspect was not there. They say he was last seen by the teen running west on Route 371, away from the home. Troopers searched the area and did not find him.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair and facial hair. The teen said she thought he was between 20-40 years old.

Anyone who may have information on this home invasion or the suspect is asked to call Troopers at (203)2663-3400 or text TIP711 with information to 274637. All calls will remain confidential.
