TRUMBULL, Conn. (WTNH) — An ATM machine from the Westfield Trumbull Mall was stolen Thursday morning, and police are still searching for the suspects.

Two suspects are seen in surveillance images that were provided by the Trumbull Police Department today. At approximately 9 a.m. a dark maroon or burgundy colored mini-van drove up onto the north sidewalk entrance to the mall adjacent to the doors near Macy’s and JCPenney. Their plate possibly bearing New York registration, police say.

The two suspects dressed in dark colored clothing wearing ski masks exited the van with a hand cart and walked into the mall. The suspects broke the machine away from its bolted position without the use of tools, according to police. They then put the ATM machine onto the hand cart and wheeled it to the van. The suspects left the area in the van at a high rate of speed exiting the mall using the Madison Ave entrance traveling south.

Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to locate these suspects.
