3 pounds of marijuana seized from Montville home

MONTVILLE, Conn. (WTNH) — More than three pounds of marijuana has been seized from a home in Montville, police say.

According to authorities, they received information that marijuana was being stored at a home on Jerome Road. Investigators served a search warrant at the apartment on Thursday. They say they found three-and-a-half pounds of marijuana, marijuana wax, drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, scales, ammunition, a money counting machine, and $8,700 cash.

State police say the investigation is ongoing and that they expect to make arrests.
