(WTNH)- The American Academy of Pediatrics came out with new guidelines on screen time for children.

The Academy now recommends that infants 18 months and younger should not be exposed to any digital media. Children ages two to five should have no more than one hour a day.

Children ages six and older are recommended to have the parents figure out what works best for them. The new guidelines are only for time spent using digital media for entertainment purposes.

Other media use like online homework does not count.
