Large marijuana operation busted in Sharon

SHARON, Conn. (WTNH) – Troopers with Connecticut State Police busted a large marijuana operation in Sharon on Thursday.

Connecticut State Police served a search and seizure warrant with the help of the State Wide Narcotics Task Force on Cornwall Bridge Road on Thursday.

Law enforcement seized approximately five pounds of processed marijuana, 190 marijuana plants and other marijuana cultivation equipment.

Maximillian Rodriguez, 25, and Ronald Rodriguez, 27, were arrested and now face a number of drug-related charges.

They are due in court on Friday.
