Curb appeal tips and ideas for the fall season

NEW HAVEN Conn. (WTNH) — When it comes to your lawn it is important to maintain it year round for the best results, there are a few easy ways you can increase your curb appeal.

Patrick Roy, the store manager at Lowe’s in Wallingford stopped by our station to talk about fall curb appeal and clean up. Patrick says there are new tools on the market, it can make cleaning up outside that much better. He says this is the best time to seed and touch up spots that may not have had good results this year. Patrick says another thing people can do at this time of the year is plant bulbs that way they bloom in the spring.

When it comes to Halloween decor’ you can make your own decorations with simple things you find at home that won’t cost a ton of money. Patrick showed us a raised garden out of cedar, and a DIY chalk board.
