Shelton Police investigate missing person’s death

SHELTON, Conn. (WTNH) — Police are investigating after the body of a missing man was found on the property of his Shelton home.

Local and State Police responded Longfellow road in Shelton on Sunday morning, after receiving a call about a missing person. A mother woke up that morning, unable to find her 56-year-old son Theodore Bortnick.

Police searched the area, and found Bortnick’s deceased body in a drainage ravine on the property.

Shelton police are still investigating the death, but they say there is no indication of foul play at this time.
