Woman Charged with DUI in South Windsor

SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH)- A Vernon woman was arrested for allegedly driving drunk back in July. Police arrested 48-year-old Elaine Condon on October 22, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and failure to drive in a proper lane.

 Police say the incident happened back in July when Condon was pulled over by police. Police say they thought she was under the influence of alcohol, but while she was being processed Condon got sick and was taken to the hospital. Police say they were able to get Condon’s medical records and found out she did have n elevated blood alcohol level. Police were able to get an arrest warrant for Condon and she was arrested Saturday.
