Putnam man facing drug charges

Woodstock, Conn. (WTNH) – State troopers have arrested a 21 year old Putnam man in the parking lot of a restaurant in Woodstock on two narcotics related charges.

Police went to Sherwood’s Bar and Grill on Route 171 after receiving numerous complaints about drugs being sold and bought in the parking lot. When they arrived, undercover officers saw and approached Seth Daley. During a conversation with undercover officers with the Quality of Life Task Force troopers say Daley admitted to being in possession of heroin.

Troopers later confiscated numerous packages of heroin from Daley that had been pre-packaged for sale. Daley has been charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Heroin with Intent to sell in the case.

His first court appearance is set for Danielson Superior Court on November 9th.
