Cara Spath, the head coordinator for Day of Hope and breast cancer survivor, says the most important thing is making sure everyone involved has a boost of self-esteem and relaxation. “The Day of Hope is all about making breast cancer survivors and patients feel good about themselves,” said Spath, “forgetting about what they’ve been through and what they’re going through, coming out rejuvenated and relaxed.” Spath will be able to tattoo a 3-D areola for patients who have lost that part of them during their treatment.
The event will be held October 29th at Pomperaug Plastic Surgery located at 22 Poverty Road in Southbury from 10am-2pm
