Drugs found during traffic stop in Willimantic

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — A Willimantic man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop.

Police say they stopped 19-year-old Juan Rodriguez-Lopez on Valley Street early Thursday morning and found about four grams of MDMA, or Molly, in the car.

The Ivan Hill Street man is charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, failure to display license plate, and driving with a suspended license. He was released on $5,000 bond and is due in court on November 7.
