Two Brothers Plead Guilty to Heroin Charges


BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (WTNH)- Two Bridgeport brothers pleaded guilty to federal heroin distribution charges. Police say the duo was connected to some overdoses, including a deadly one.

39-year-old Erick Delgado and 28-year-old Anoris “Alex” Delgado both pleaded guilty.

Police say on April 25, an overdose victim had to be revived with two doses of Narcan, and then taken to the hospital. Police say witnesses told them the victim got the heroin from someone name “Eric.” Police identified the suspect as Erick Delgado. Police say on the same day, Monroe police responded to an overdose scene where a 48-year-old male was pronounced dead. Police say a witness told them that heroin was bought from Erick Delgado.

Then, Police say in May, they were doing an undercover investigation in Bridgeport, where Anoris Delgado sold them 20 bags of heroin. Police say the same thing happened at a later date in May. So, in June, both brothers were arrested.

The crime they are charged with carries a prison sentence of 20 years.
