Ella Dynae is Turning Halloween Costumes Into an Art Form

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – Ella Dynae design Halloween costumes are not your typical costumes. They are a work of art made with the finest materials and expert handiwork.

Each costume is custom-designed to the specific measurements of each girl.

Ella Dynae believes that dressing up is one of the good things in a girl’s life. Richelle Rudeen started Ella Dynae in 2012 at age 24 with a degree in fashion design from Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC, and a degree in historical costume design from England. While working as a freelance designer in London she received international recognition and several international design awards, including one costume that currently resides in the permanent collection of the World of Wearable Art Museum in New Zealand.

In the fall of 2013 she was thrilled to win the Style category in the Martha Stewart ‘American Made’ contest. In late 2015 Ella Dynae Designs relocated to Bridgeport, Connecticut.  Her clientele now includes customers from the US as well as Canada, Australia, England, Italy, Finland, Norway, Germany, Russia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Hong Kong and Turkey among other countries.
