(WTNH) — It’s the Friday before a busy weekend prepping the kids for Halloween and we have some sweet treats you can collect early as you head into the weekend.
If you’re looking for something festive to do with the kids, there are plenty of things to choose from that’ll keep them happy while you run your errands.
On Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. your kids can wear their costume to Target for the Saturday Spooktacular event where they’ll get goodie bags and other freebies while supplies last.
Both Saturday and Sunday, Michael’s is having a Monster Bash event where kids can make a free treat bag or get their faces painted.
And on Halloween, IHOP is giving kids under 12 a free scary face pancake.
On Halloween from 3:00 p.m. to close, Chipotle is offering up $3 boo-ritos. But there’s a catch! You have to go in in costume to get that deal.
This weekend is the Halloween ComicFest event, if you like comics, most specialty stores are handing out free comics. You can find a list by clicking here.
There’s a ‘Make and Take’ event at Toys R Us Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Your kids can make a Lego Frankenstein that they’ll be able to take home with them.
Now through Halloween there’s a Great Pumpkin celebration with free treats and crafts at Bass Pro shop locations.
And it may be worth it to swing through a Wendy’s if you see one. For $1 you can get coupons for 5 free Jr. Frosty’s.
Before you head out the door, for all of these, you should call ahead to make sure your local establishment is participating and that supplies are still available.
