New Haven Detectives Investigate Shooting

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – New Haven police are investigating a shooting, but it could be an uphill battle since the victim is not cooperating.  Officers were called to 688 Elm Street on Wednesday to investigate the shooting.  When they got there, they found Nathaniel Griffin, of that address.  He’d been shot in the left thigh.  Griffin claims he was shot by someone in a car driving by.  But, he couldn’t describe the car or the alleged assailant.  He was taken to Yale New Haven hospital for treatment.  Griffin’s injuries are non-life threatening.  Detectives are investigating.
