Report It! Recap: October 28, 2016

The flowers covered in snow in Naugatuck (WTNH / Report-It / Debbie Levesque)

(WTNH) — Just to be clear – It’s still October. The colors now peaking along the shoreline. But Seasons are colliding! We got our first snowfall this week. Flakes dusting much of the state. Especially in New Haven and Litchfield counties. Coating the flowers, the leaves and sidewalks.  A reminder that winter is right around the corner.

But enough of that. Let’s get back to foliage scenes like these. In Naugatuck, Milford, Guilford and Trumbull

Many of you embracing the falling leaves. While the kids still picking those perfect pumpkins. Many of them starting to turn into jack-o-lanterns. Halloween practically here.

The costumes pretty much ready. Here’s Nicolas in Shelton, Madison in New Haven. Check out Kyrie and Kobe in Bristol. Hashtag adorable!

While Toni decided to dress up like her dog. Everyone excited for Monday night.

The animals also getting in on the action. Some willingly, others not so much.

A big variety: from a lobster, to a peacock, even a penguin.

A cat dressed as a turtle, a dog as a shark. While these two dogs appear to be a super hero and the pope.

So many wonderful pictures. Keep ‘em coming!
