Gas Prices Fall 0.6 Cents Over Last Week in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)- Spookily good gas prices this Halloween. Prices in New Haven have gone down about 0.6 cents per gallon over the last week. According to GasBuddy, the average price per gallon is $2.29 in New Haven. The national average is $2.20 per gallon, according to GasBuddy.

This information is due on prices, as of Sunday, October 30. The bad news, gas is more expensive than it was at this time last year. According to GasBuddy, prices are about 2.7 cents per gallon higher than it was last year at this time.

Over the last month, GasBuddy says the national average has gone down about 1.9 cents per gallon.

Here’s a look at where New Haven gas prices have been over the past few year.

$2.26 per gallon in 2015, $3.30 per gallon in 2014, $3.60 per gallon in 2013, $3.88 per gallon in 2012, and $3.68 per gallon in 2011.
