Fairfield school to remain closed for second day due to water issue

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — McKinley Elementary School in Fairfield will be closed on Wednesday after a water issue.

According to Ann Leffert, Director of Human Services for Fairfield Public Schools, tests on the water haven’t come back from Monday’s issue so officials had to make the decision to keep the school closed for a second day in a row.

McKinley School will remain closed on Wednesday, November 2 to students, but staff is told to report to school.
