MANCHESTER, Conn. (WTNH) — Officials at Manchester Community College have canceled classes for Tuesday after a water line break occurred on the campus.
Just before 11:00 a.m., administrators informed students and staff that the college would be closing at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, to allow water company crews to repair the broken line. All students were released by 12 noon, with faculty and staff remaining on campus.
It is unclear what may have caused the line to rupture. Manchester Community College has not yet announced whether classes will be held on Wednesday.
