Suspect wanted in attempted Enfield bank robbery

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A person tried to hold up a bank in Enfield on Wednesday, police say.

According to authorities, the suspect went into the Santander Bank on Enfield Street around 1:10 p.m. and passed a note demanding money. They say he also implied he had a gun.

Police say the suspect ran off without getting any money. Anyone who can identify him is asked to call Detective Jensen at (860) 763-8921.
