Driver strikes a street sign in Plainfield

PLAINFIELD, Conn (WTNH) —- Police are still investigating an accident involving a street sign that took place near All Hallows Cemetery.

According to the Plainfield police department,  Miranda Fore, 25, of Danielson was driving a black 2010 Mazda 3I northbound on Green Hollow Road when she swerved off of the right side of the road and struck a street sign on Wednesday night.

Members of the Plainfield police department, Atwood Hose fire department, and American Legion Ambulance responded to the incident. The car had minor front end damage and Fore was transported to Backus Emergency Room with minor injuries.

This incident is still under investigation.
