Cromwell Police asking for help locating suspect

CROMWELL, Conn. (WTNH) — Cromwell police say they know the man who robbed the Liberty Bank on Friday, but they need help finding where he is.

Around 5:30 p.m. Friday, Cromwell police went to the Liberty Bank on Berlin Road for a report of a robbery. The suspect gave a teller a note saying he had a gun, but no gun was shown. The suspect left the bank in a pick-up truck that was reported stolen out of Durham earlier in the day.

Police say the suspect is 31-year-old Gregory Dearborn. He is also wanted by the Meriden Police Department for larceny.

Anyone with information on Dearborn’s whereabouts or the location of the green 1981 Ford pick-up truck, NH plates 541765, is asked to call police at (860)635-2256.
