New Haven Police Investigate Shooting


NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) – New Haven police are investigating a shooting.  It happened Wednesday on George Street between Orchard and Day Streets.  The victim, forty-two year old Omar Gray, told officers he was confronted by a gunman as he sat in his parked car.  Detectives say the gunman fired several shots, hitting Gray in his right arm.  Gray was located a block away from the shooting, after he’d run from the shooter.  Police are still trying to nail down a motive for the crime.  Witnesses are asked to call police at 203-946-6304.
