Arrest made in Cromwell Liberty Bank robbery

CROMWELL & MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Police in Meriden have arrested a local man accused of robbing the Liberty Bank in Cromwell on Berlin Road.

Cromwell Police were searching for 31-year-old Gregory Dearborn after he allegedly robbed the bank Friday afternoon. A stolen vehicle 1981 Ford pick up truck, allegedly used by Dearborn during the robbery, was found abandoned in Hartford and seized by Cromwell police.

Dearborn was held on bond at Meriden Police Headquarters.

There is no word on when he will appear in court.
