Veterans Day parade held in Milford

MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Folks from across the state flocked to Milford Sunday as the city held its Veterans Day parade.

News 8’s Stephanie Simoni spoke with Tom Flowers, Chairman of the Veterans Ceremony and Parade Commission on Good Morning Connecticut to preview the event.

The grand marshal and guest speaker was Aleks Morosky, who serves as the national legislative director for the Military Order of the Purple Heart in Washington, D.C., where he is responsible for communicating the order’s legislative agenda to members of the United States Congress, federal departments and agencies, and the nationwide veterans community.
