Bristol milling project starts Nov. 9

BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — Bristol Public Works announces that the city will begin scheduled milling off the existing bituminous pavement surface on Main St between Prospect St and the railroad bridge on Wednesday Nov. 9th.

Main St from Summer St to the railroad bridge will be closed to through traffic from 6 p.m. Wednesday to noon Thursday. There will be traffic delays during the construction with limited access available to adjacent parking lots. Temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted as needed during construction. Paving will immediately follow the milling operation.

The City of Bristol directs any questions about this project to their Public Works Engineering at 860-584-6297.
