Troopers arrest fugitive in Danielson

DANIELSON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Wethersfield fugitive has been captured by state troopers in Danielson.

Troopers said Stanton H. Brown was serving a sentence for sexual assault in the second degree with an underage victim. According to troopers, Brown had escaped from the Connecticut Department of Corrections – Parole Division.

Troopers said they were able to track him down at a home on Morin Avenue in Danielson, “using unconventional techniques.”

Brown was taken to the Corrigan Correctional Facility. He is awaiting bond.
