WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — Willimantic Police arrested one local man three separate times on Monday.
Jerremy Jimenez, was first arrested by city police on Monday morning after a family dispute. He was released that morning on a $15,000 bond.
Jimenez later returned to the home creating a disturbance again. He was arrested for the second time and was taken to the Willimantic Police Headquarters.
While in police custody, Jimenez was arrested for a third time after he assaulted a city police officer near his cell block.
“The police officer, who is not being identified, was not seriously injured and was back on patrol after receiving medical attention at police headquarters. We are pleased that he was not injured during this altercation.” – Lt. Stanley Parizo, Jr.
Jimenez was released on a total bond of $20,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned in Danielson Superior Court Tuesday morning. He faces charges of Disorderly Conduct, Interfering with an Emergency Call, and Assaulting an Officer.
