Danbury man arrested for drug trafficking

DANBURY, Conn (WTNH) — Police arrested a Danbury man on Wednesday suspected for selling cocaine out of his home and car.

Danbury Police and detectives obtained a search warrant for Ivan Rojas-Dominiguez, his home, and his car following complaints that he was selling illegal drugs.

Investigators were able to engage 41-year-old Rojas-Dominiguez in the middle of a suspected drug transaction in a parking lot on Mill Plain Road.

Police searched his car where they found a substantial amount of money and drugs.

Rojas-Dominiguez was taken into custody and brought back to his home on 33 Abbott Avenue in Danbury.

While police searched his bedroom, they found drug paraphernalia typically used for drug trafficking, several ounces of cocaine, and over $30,000 in cash.

Rojas-Dominiguez was arrested and held on a bond of $250,000 with a pending arraignment. He faces multiple charges including Possession of Narcotics, Criminal Attempt/Sale of Narcotics, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
