Griswold man facing drug charges after traffic stop

WILLIAMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) – The Willimantic Police Department pulls over a Griswold man for a traffic violation and found just over one-half pound of marijuana.

24-year-old Seth Thomas Gwiazdowski was arrested. Police also recovered a loaded 9 mm Ruger pistol during the arrest.

According to police, he had a valid Connecticut pistol permit. Gwiazdowski will now have to go before a hearing at the State of Connecticut Department of Public Safety Special Licensing and Firearms Unit.

He is charged with possession of greater than four ounces of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.

Gwiazdowski was released on $50,000 bond. He will be back in court on November 18th at Danielson Superior Court.
