ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) – Today we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to Noli’s Hair Salon in Rocky Hill.
Today – Veterans Day, Noli will be providing free haircuts to men and women that are active military, Veterans, Fire, Police and EMS.
Hairstylist, Noli came to America in 1999 as a war refugee, after his barbershop in Kosovo was burned down in the Kosovo War. After seeing support from the U.S. Military in his homeland, Noli has made it a priority to pay it forward to U.S. Veterans, one cut at a time.
One Marine who took advantage of the free haircut, says this good deed isn’t out of the ordinary for the Rocky Hill barber:
Whenever I am broke or something they will give me a haircut for free. No questions asked. He’s offered for years to go up to the State Veterans home and cut hair for free. People say “thank you for your service.” You can tell that a lot of them are just saying it because you figure that it is what you are supposed to do. When Noli says it, it’s from that heart and you can tell the difference.
Friday, November 11 from 9am-2pm, all active Military, Veterans, Police, Fire and EMS receive free haircuts from Noli’s Hair Salon in Rocky Hill. Here’s the address: 2409 Main St, Rocky Hill, CT 06067
Complimentary food will also be provided by Bella’Gio Ristorante & Pizzeria from Cheshire.
