Fight breaks out inside the Cuckoo’s Nest restaurant over President-elect Trump

OLD SAYBROOK, Conn. (WTNH) — Police say two men have been arrested after they got into a fight about President-elect Donald Trump.

Old Saybrook police were called to the Cuckoo’s Nest Mexican Food at 1712 Boston Post Road Friday evening after they got several calls about a fight inside the restaurant.

Police say two men who didn’t know each other, got into an argument over President-elect Donald Trump. Police say the argument turned physical and dishes were allegedly thrown. One of the men was taken to the Middlesex Medical Center for injuries he sustained in the fight.

Evan Brown, 34, of Lyme was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. He is being held on a $2,500 bond.

Douglas Dahlberg, 58, of Clinton was arrested and charged with second-degree breach of peace. He will be held on a $1,000 bond.
