Heroin and cocaine seized in Willimantic drug bust

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WTNH) — Willimantic police have made an arrest and seized quantities of heroin and cocaine after a six-month investigation into narcotics trafficking.

On Thursday night, police arrested 36-year-old Wilberto Class, of Willimantic, on several narcotics charges. Officers had been investigating Class for months, and gathered enough information to obtain a search warrant for his apartment on Bridge Street.

When police executed the search warrant, they were able to locate and confiscate approximately 12.4 grams of heroin, 17.5 grams of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia including scales, packing materials, and drug factory cutting materials. Officers also found a large amount of cash.

Class was arrested without incident, and is being held on a $100,00 bond. He is due in Danielson Superior Court on November 14th.
