Man suspected in two Enfield bank robberies minutes apart

ENFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) – Police in Enfield are looking for one suspect involved in two bank robberies that happened on the same day.

The Enfield Police Department were called on November 12th to People’s Bank at 49 Hazard Avenue at 10:34 a.m.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, medium build and that he was wearing a blue knit winter hat with the Boston Red Sox baseball cap with a “B” on the front of it, blue jacket and jeans. The suspect demanded money from the teller and got away with money.

The second report came in a few minutes later from Webster Bank at 50 Freshwater Boulevard.  Police gave the same description as the previous bank robbery. The suspect demanded money from the teller and got away with money.

Webster Bank has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Lewis at (860) 763-8939.
