Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Branford crash

BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Branford Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left a man severely injured Sunday afternoon.

The crash happened at the intersection of East Main Street and Mill Plain Road. The man on the motorcycle, 52 year old, Christopher Scranton, was traveling westbound when he was hit by a driver attempting to make a left hand turn.

Scranton was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to call the Branford Police Department at 203-481-4241.

The crash remains under investigation. No arrests have been made.
