Two Men Charged with DUI after Getting in Accident, Fighting Outside Cars

LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH)- Two men were charged with driving under the influence after police say they got into a car accident and then a physical fight in Ledyard. Police charged 33-year-old Benjamin Beaudoin and 29-year-old Nicholas Summers after the incident on November 12.

Police say the incident happened around 2:30AM on November 12. Police say 911 calls came in, saying one car was on top of the other. When police got to the scene they say the two men were fighting outside their cars.

Police say it started when the drivers were traveling on Route 12 and Summers purposely hit Beaudoin, causing the accident.

No one was seriously hurt.
