Man arrested for domestic violence in Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. (WTNH)  –  A Darien man has been arrested after he set his ex-girlfriend’s car on fire and tried to abduct her in Stratford.

Police have charged 29 year old Pedro Oristanio with arson 2nd degree, attempted kidnapping, unlawful restraint, criminal mischief 1st degree and threatening 2nd degree.

According to police they were called to Kings College Place on Tuesday where they determined Oristanio set the fire and tried to abduct a woman.  Police learned that Oristanio might be headed to one of three locations and he was located in New Canaan and brought back to Stratford to face the charges.
