Bomb threat reported at Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield MA

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Massachusetts State Police were called the Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport, Thursday night, to investigate a bomb threat.

According to the Massachusetts State Police Twitter page, around 5:00 p.m., a bomb squad handler and a dog were sent to the airport to help with searching for the alleged bomb in the building.

The airport is located near the Barnes Air National Air Base. No other information is available at this time.
