Hamden police make arrest in Oxycontin sales ring

HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) —  Hamden police have arrested a Waterbury man after a drug investigation into illegal Oxycontin sales in multiple locations around town.

After investigating reports of drug sales in four different locations in town, police put out an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Kristopher Williams, of Waterbury. Williams was taken into custody on November 14th at 7:15 p.m in the area of Arch Street.

According to police, Williams had 10 Oxycotin pills at the time of his arrest. He is charged with several counts of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with the intent to sell.

Williams is scheduled to appear in court on November 28th.
