HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Hartford police are investigating after a man died from a suspected heroin overdose.
According to Hartford Deputy Chief Brian J. Foley, police were called to a parking lot on Farmington Avenue around 6:15 p.m. Friday for a report of an unresponsive person. Police say when they got there, they found a 54-year-old man from Rocky Hill in the front passenger seat.
He was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was pronounced dead Saturday morning.
Police say the owner of the vehicle the man was found in signed a consent to search form. In the car, police found one wax sleeve stamped “Passion” and a small bag containing a white powder substance.
The man has not been identified. No additional information is available.
