Former Glastonbury cheerleader suing for $15 million after injury

(WTNH)–A former Glastonbury High School cheerleader and her family are filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the school. They claim that in 2015, the 16-year-old was performing a stunt during practice, and she hit her head on the floor.

According to court documents, she was told to continue on and perform at that night’s high school basketball game.

Her family claims she suffered a brain injury. They’re seeking $15 million in damages. News 8 reached out to the school district on Monday, but they declined to comment.
