Individuals identified in Greenwich tractor trailer accident

GREENWICH, Conn. (WTNH) — The two individuals that suffered life-threatening injuries in a tractor trailer accident that took place on Saturday night at the intersection of I-95 and Arch Street have been identified. The driver of the passenger car has been identified as Christina Vomoca, 38, of Stamford. The passenger of the car has been identified as Maiko Kobayashi,32, of Stamford.

The Greenwich Fire Department had to forcibly extract the passengers and the victims were transported to the Stamford Hospital Emergency Medical Service for life-threatening injuries. Vomoca and Kobayashi both remain in critical condition.

The accident is under investigation bu the Greenwich Police Department Traffic Section.
