Man identified in fatal Bristol accident


BRISTOL, Conn. (WTNH) — The man that was killed after being hit by a car Saturday evening in Bristol has been identified as 49-year-old Alvin Colon, of Bristol.

The accident took place on Pine Street in the area of Emmett Street. When officers arrived at the scene the bicyclist, Alvin Colon, was suffering life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Donald Martin, 75, of Bristol.

The investigation showed that Colon was traveling north across Pine Street when he collided with Martin who was traveling west on Pine Street.

The crash still remains under investigation
