MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – A Milford man has been arrested twice in two days for breaking a protective order and assaulting the same woman. Sunday night around 7:30 Milford Police got a call about domestic violence on Virginia Street in Milford. They arrested Kenneth Johnson, 59 of Milford on charges of physically fighting with a woman in the home, was booked and released on a promise to appear in court. He was told he could not go near the woman or contact her. Six hours later, police were called to the same home on Virginia street because Johnson was back. Police say not only did he show up at the home again, he left more than a half dozen threatening telephone messages. Police say when they arrested him a second time he had a prescription pill in his pocket along with some marijuana. Police also noticed cuts and bruises on Johnson’s face and discovered that he had been in two car wrecks between his first and second arrest, hitting a building and then a parked car. Johnson is facing a long list of charges including Threatening, Harassment, Reckless Driving and drug charges. He’s being held on $101,000 bond.
