HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) – The Hamden Fire Department was called to a barn that went up in flames on Evergreen Avenue on Sunday, November 20th.
According to firefighters, the wind drove the fire to ignite nearby trees at the Broken Arrow Nursery Tree Farm.
The fire was under control about 30 minutes after the call was placed at 1:54 p.m. No one was injured.
The small barn was a total loss including some farm equipment stored inside.
The Hamden Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
