“If there’s young kids. We have animals running around. You know, BB Guns? Yeah guns scare me,” said Old Saybrook neighor, Leigh Dolinsky. “It’s probably a prank, kids fooling around. I hope that would be it and not doing it to hurt someone’s property or something.”

Police say Garret Bush, 20, and Maxwell Bravi, 20, are the shooters. Detectives spent the morning searching Bravi’s family home. Officers say they’re shooting spree started on Sunday even going all the way to Mohegan Sun. Look at these surveillance photos in Waterford. Then, police say they targeted East Lyme, at least 2 cars Westbrook, and 6 cars at shopping plazas in Clinton.

We believe this was a random act of stupidity.” – Sergeant Jeremiah Dunn, Clinton Police

If it is stupidity, it could land them in more trouble. The spree stopped last night after Old Saybrook police say they targeted Cornfield Point along Hartsland Drive. Police there recognized their faces in the surveillance photos and knew them from previous run-ins.

“We’re hoping to find out through questioning why they would do this. This is dangerous,” said Old Saybrook’s Lt. Kevin Roche.

Police say they confessed to the crime.

“The information they provided us will hopefully help the other towns resolve their investigations,” said Roche.

While investigating, police learned of drug activity at Bravi’s Farview Avenue home. There, officers found more than a half a pound of marijuana, a scale and other drug paraphernalia. Bush, Maxwell and his mother Michelle Bravi, 49, were arrested.
