Cruisin’ Connecticut – Last Call for Ebenezer Scrooge at The Hartford Stage

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) – Today we’re Cruisin’ Connecticut to The Hartford Stage for the 19th season of “A Christmas Carol.” Actor, Bill Raymond stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in his 17th and final run with the show.

This is Director, Rachel Alderman’s first year at the helm of the Director’s chair:

A Christmas Carol at Hartford Stage and it’s a beautiful adaptation that was written by Michael Wilson who is our artistic director. We’ve got some special magic going on in this show. There’s flying there’s glitter and snow and special effects.

I asked Bill Raymond if he finds himself stuck in-character, outside of the Hartford Stage:

Haha. Well, I think I must be because every now and then people have such strange reactions to me.

The cast is made up of a mix of students from The University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music, Dance, and Theater and seasoned performers like Bill Raymond, and Alan Rust who plays the Ghost of Christmas Present.

The show kicks off Friday, November 25th, and runs through December 30th. Get your tickets at
